The RAC is, of course, way more than ‘just a gym’. A great example are the group lessons, free for all GRC students and lots of fun! This page will introduce you to the instructors of RAC and below you will find their schedule.

Catie Bootcamp

Katie Ray

Katie was always active as a child but didn’t really start her personal fitness journey until after high school. She started running, then doing interval training and wound up at a CrossFit gym where she developed a love for Olympic lifting and high-intensity training. After sustaining an injury about a year into her CrossFit career she found her way to an inner icon and got hooked on the fitness perspective, passion, coaches and members of Inner Icon while overcoming her injury. She recognizes everyone has their own individual fitness goals and looks forward to helping you reach yours whether its developing healthy eating and life habits, moving extreme amounts of weight, or anything in between . When not at the gym or working Katie is busy keeping her three dogs as active as she is.

Katie is currently pursuing her NASM and Program Design certifications. Katie is thankful to be a coach and client of such an amazing community at Inner Icon and is looking forward to adding Green River Community College to her fitness family.

My passion for living a healthy and active started early in my childhood with dance and martial art classes. After college, I started looking for new ways to stay in shape and found Cross Fit. I’ve taken part in boot camp and Cross Fit classes since 2012 and have fallen in love with the constant challenge. I started instructing boot camp and HIIT classes in late 2014. I am always looking for new ways to maintain a healthy lifestyle and am eager to learn more, not only to help myself but help others at the same time. I love watching people progress in their fitness journey and succeed in reaching their goals.

MixxedFit® is a people-inspired dance fitness program that is a mix of explosive dancing and boot camp toning. Everything about our dance fitness program can be described as explosive – all of our movements are always big, exaggerated, full-out, and our very best. We dance to our favorite songs on the radio and we spice things up by adding boot camp-inspired exercises to make your workout more effective and challenging. If you’re plateauing in your traditional dance fitness class, this might be the answer to your prayers.

Trysteen Tran is an English and Reading Instructor at Green River College and a certified MixxedFit Instructor on the side. You might have been a student in her class or know of someone who currently is, so come and dance with her! All are welcome, no matter your skill level. Be prepared to sweat, get loud, and have fun!
